City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1vkYWo9 Nonnie Griffin, a treasure of Canadian theatre, depicts film icon Marilyn Monroe reflecting on her turbulent, storied life. Marilyn, who died young, returns to tell the truth about her life: her lack of any real parenting, the many foster homes, the sexual demands made on young actresses in her day, the men in her life, and some new revelations that could prove startling. The one-woman play was written and researched by Griffin, who as a young woman bore a striking resemblance to Monroe.
