City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1T7FzJH The Foundation has invited esteemed Turkmen pianist and composer Mamed Guseynov together with soprano from the Helikon Opera in Moscow, Daria Rubanova to perform a series of classical concerts and masterclasses. The concert program is inspired by the multicultural fabric of Toronto and will feature works by Nury Halmamedov, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Sviridov, Scriabin, Komitas, Puccini and more! Our masterclasses provides musicians of all ages the opportunity to learn alongside their peers as Mamed Guseynov and Daria Rubanova give feedback and work one-on-one with each soloist. Classes begin with a brief lecture, "Cultural Parallels: Turkmen and European Classical Music"
