City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1TWi21N Contact Photography Festival – Concrete and Clay: photo documentation by Toronto artist Jen Falvy, drawing attention to the irreversible practice of shoreline hardening. Revetments, armour rocks and paved roads are taking over our natural shorelines. In an attempt to alter the malleable, shifting and changing clay shores of the Scarborough Bluffs, developers are not only destroying an ecosystem but they are severing our connection to the lake. There is still time to save the last natural shoreline in Toronto. This is an opportunity for you to re-establish your relationship with the shorelines and waters of Lake Ontario.
