City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1RJ9r4o Toronto, Ontario: The Willowdale Group of Artists (WGA), one of Toronto's oldest, active art groups, is celebrating the onset of spring with a juried show, featuring works painted by some of Toronto's finest amateur and professional artists. WGA Endowment Award – for many years, the Willowdale Group of Artists has awarded an endowment to deserving students enrolled in the arts program at York University. The 2016-2017 award winner, Marcia Villeneuve, will be introduced to the group of patrons and guests and participate in the presentation of show awards. Juror for the Spring Show Brian Smith. Categories awarded are: Best in Show; Best Landscape; Best Floral; Best Abstract and four Honorable Mentions.
