City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1PmheCm Nominated for the Governor General's Award and the Dora for Best New Play, Sally Clark's The Trial of Judith K. is a modern Canadian take on Kafka's classic dystopian novel The Trial. This fast and sexy dark comedy changes the setting to 1980s Vancouver and the lead character to a contemporary business woman who finds herself accused of an unknown crime. Judith tries to clear her name with the help of some suspicious characters, but only finds herself trapped in a nightmarish justice system.
