02/07/2016 00:00:00 Downtown Toronto Walking Tour Downtown Free

City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1UuwVaz Starting at Union Station, the busiest train station in Canada, this 90-minute walking tour heads north into The Financial District. Walking past the tallest skyscrapers in Canada and the headquarters of most of the nation's banks and financial institutions as well as the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE), your guide will explain Toronto's growth as the financial capital of Canada. Part of the walk (or nearly all of it, if the weather is bad) will utilize the famous PATH, Toronto's "underground city" - 25+km of interconnected hallways, corridors, and atriums filled with shops, services and food courts that serve the workforce in the office towers above. The tour will conclude with a stop at both Old City Hall and the current City Hall.
