City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1Or5azJ Every year the 14 Division Police CPLC gives away scholarships (this year 3 x $4,000) and we need to raise money. The scholarships are for young people going to post secondary who have done something to make the community safer as well as having a desire to go to post secondary. We give our scholarships through the Investing in Diversity program because of the benefits: many of the post secondary institutions offer a matching scholarship in the second year; St. Stephens helps with finding summer employment; and there is mentoring. The evening will be fun as well as to raise funds there is entertainment and an auction.
