These professional noontime recitals, usually by organists but sometime by other musicians, create an opportunity to enjoy this 19th century building, to take time out of one's busy day to relax, surrounded by beauty, both architectural and musical. There is no proselytizing. Just a welcome atmosphere downtown to get out of the fray and sit down, while cares take a back seat.
