City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1CQGGXB On Toque Tuesday, community agencies and corporate partners across the country will sell toques (and this year, socks!) in support of long-term solutions to homelessness. The Toque Campaign, organized by Toronto-based charity Raising the Roof, has raised nearly $4 million since its inception in 1997. 80% of net funds return to the communities they were raised in, supporting local partner agencies working with at-risk or homeless individuals and families. The remaining 20% supports Raising the Roof's national homelessness initiatives. In Toronto, local community agencies, corporate partners and volunteers will sell toques at locations across the city, including high-traffic subway stations and in the PATH system. #ToqueTuesday #rtrtoque
