Describing his art as a contemporary primitivism, Alexanian excels in his beautiful use of form, line, and structure in his mainly figurative works. With her meticulous application of translucent layers of oil paint, Carol Bernier has been referred to as a master of abstraction. Together they have created an exhibition where their contrasting styles are brought together in their mutual desire to transcend the boundaries of their own spirituality.
