City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1Qm1lhE ORIANA explores this interconnection of music with the human experience, tapping into inspiration, comfort and joy. The concert features two works commissioned by ORIANA from Nancy Telfer (Of Things Eternal) and Milton Barnes (Madrigals), alongside masterworks by Fauré (Messe Basse) and Holst (Two Eastern Pictures). We are also excited to premiere a new Canadian commission that is currently in development. Other works by Conte, Vaughan Williams, Elgar, Gawthrop, Schumann, and Canadians Eleanor Daley and Ruth Watson Henderson round out this diverse and inspiring program. Artistic Director: Mitchell Pady
