The festival draws people from diverse backgrounds and has numbered over a hundred thousand people for the duration of the festival. Afrofest also hosts an African Market during the two days when vendors sell a wide variety of African foods, artifacts and fashion wear. Afrofest provides a perfect environment for the young and the old. It's also a perfect environment for children as they will be treated to fun games and other things as face painting at the Children's village. Kids and adults can also enjoy free drumming lessons offered during the two day festival.
