It offers 9 days of cinematic experiences centered on Italian life, culture and history. Using the power of the moving image to both entertain and educate, ICFF defies conventional perspectives on complex and challenging issues facing both Italian and global communities. All films are in Italian or other foreign languages subtitled in English or French (in Montreal and Quebec City). From its inception in 2012 in Toronto, the festival has grown nationally and will run simultaneously in Toronto, Vaughan, Montreal, Quebec City and Hamilton.
