City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1DXCQvj The Toronto Writers Co-operative presents Exchanging Notes 2014, the interview series with published Canadian authors for those interested in literary culture, and writing in Toronto. Dr. Mark Kingwell, U of T philosopher, and author, leaves the classroom for a 1-on-1 interview that will explore his genesis and evolution. Kingwell's studies of politics and culture seek the extraordinary in the banal, demonstrating why we must participate fully in our world. He is a frequent contributor to media both popular and scholarly. He has published more than a dozen books, including "A Civil Tongue: Justice, Dialogue, and the Politics of Pluralism" (awarded the Spitz Prize for political theory). A Q&A session will follow the interview.
