City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1pFccEu The Cabbagetown Short Film & Video Festival is a juried showcase for some of the world's best short films, receiving submissions from across Canada and United States, as well as Europe, South America, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan. The two-hour Cabbagetown Short Film & Video Festival screening includes an equally diverse program of original productions shot on 35mm, 16mm, Super-8 and digital videos. They need not be premieres, nor made in the year of the festival, but they cannot exceed 15 minutes in length. A panel of industry professionals juries the entries and awards prizes in each category including comedy, drama, experimental, animation, and documentary.
