A fascinating period of wildly diverging artistic currents – from the late romanticism of Strauss, Rachmaninoff, and Vaughan-Williams to the iconoclasm of Prokofiev and Bartók or the raucous modernism of Schoenberg. The 20th century also marked the ascension of popular music fueled by the emergence of a recording industry and new mediums for distribution – radio and phonograph. These eight lively ambassadors perform impromptu a cappella renditions of classic summer hits on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 11am to 6pm until September 1. The Singing Ambassadors features John Paulo Amor, Samantha Bielanski, Allen Chien, Dominic Ebona, Dianne Oliveira, Peter Raimondo, Beth Robertson and Sheree Spencer.
