City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/2efQWq8 The purpose of this parade is to get youth involved in cultural and educational activities; to keep them off the streets in anticipation that they will stay in school away from bad influences and to grow up as adults with moral and ethical values. Starting point: Shiva Shakti Cultural Sabha @ Sheppard and Meadowvale - pick-up vehicle with children dressed depicting Diwali driving slowly along the route with family/friends driving in their respective vehicles. Religious music will be played only on the pick-up truck.
