The dodgeball tournament, which has raised over $700,000 in the last seven years, brings over 800 players/spectators from all over the city to raise awareness and funds for the Inner City Health program at St. Michael's Hospital. Over 45 teams (from company-sponsored groups to friends just getting together) compete tournament-style all night to claim the top prize. Drinks, food, live music and raffles enliven this end-of-summer night dedicated to a truly great cause. The Dodger is put on by a group of young professionals in Toronto who call themselves the ‘St. Michael's Young Leaders' (SMYL) and represents their largest annual event.
