On Monday, June 27 from 11pm-1am, see Brownman Akoustic Trio. Tickets are $20 at the door or $15 in advance. Heralded as “Canada's preeminent Jazz trumpeter” by NYC's Village Voice, Brownman Ali, born on the small Caribbean island of Trinidad, and schooled in NYC, is a multiple award-winning protégé to his teacher, Grammy-winning trumpet legend, Randy Brecker. The Globe and Mail described Brownman as “a thoughtful soloist with an intriguing blend of quirks and lyricism.”
