Laura is an experienced forest ecologist with a wealth of knowledge and stories about the trees of Toronto to share with you. Laura works at the City of Toronto forestry department. This course begins with an indoor presentation, outlining what to look for in order to correctly identify trees. Next Laura will lead an interpretive hike in High Park so you can practice your new ID skills. This course is recommended for the beginner-to-intermediate tree observer. Please dress for both indoor and outdoor learning.
