City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1NqurVi Join the VOCA Chorus of Toronto for our Saturday, December 12th “Snow Angel” concert, which will feature a wide variety of selections to celebrate the season, including Sarah Quartel's stunning "Snow Angel" and Ola Gjeilo's gorgeous "Ubi Caritas". We'll be featuring jazz, gospel & contemporary music, including arrangements by our artistic director, Jenny Crober: Joni Mitchell's "River", and Zachary Richard's Acadian protest song, "Dans le Nord Canadien". Artistic Director: Jenny Crober Accompanist: Elizabeth Acker Our choir will be joined by some of Canada's finest musicians: Sybil Shanahan (cello); Kevin Barrett (guitar) and Ray Dillard (percussion). Also featured that evening will be our annual carol sing, raffle and bake sale.
