City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1GQfrOx Caution Tape Sound Collective (CTSC) is excited to announce its inaugural concert: “Singles.” The concert will feature solo works for electric guitar and percussion performed by American guitarist Trevor Babb, and Newfoundland-born, Toronto-based percussionist Evan Bowen. Co-founded by composers August Murphy-King and Bekah Simms, CTSC aims to provide a space for emerging composers and performers to push their boundaries by exploring new sounds, techniques, and technologies. We look forward to inquisitive listeners joining us for “Singles,” featuring a new work by Jason Doell, winner of the 2015 Toronto Emerging Composer Award, as well as works by Patrick Arteaga, Colin Labadie, August Murphy-King, Parisa Sabet, and Bekah Simms.
