The book traces her investigation of animal farms around the globe, and illuminates a hidden world that plays a part in all our lives. Through her research, Faruqi intends to bring about positive change for animals, consumers, and the environment. In this talk, Faruqi will read from her book and discuss the effects of factory farms on the environment and animal welfare. The author will be selling and signing her book after the event.
