City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1HAcSCU At the opening reception, eight photographic artists will join together with professionals in the fields of dance, poetry, and music to present an afternoon of visual art with Ekphrasis performances in response to the photographs. The photographic artists are Linda Briskin, Malene Charles, Simone Creed, Kye Marshall, Mary Perdue, Jana Skarecky, Patricia Stamp, and Maria Wall. Performers responding to the visual works are dancers Angela Blumberg and Aviva Fleising, poets Ann Elizabeth Carson and Karen Shenfeld, and cellist Kye Marshall.
