Verona's 4 month presence in the NICU left such an impact that her journey is not to be left untold. Within a week of her birth we were airlifted to SickKids in Toronto where, months later, she was diagnosed with a very rare genetic condition affecting her neuro muscular system. The devastation and heartache is indescribable and the open arms and capabilities of SickKids is even more unbelievable. They say they don't perform miracles but they sure come close. We need all of your help to help them continue their amazing work for all of the babies and families alike, as they say…together we will.
