City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/XrS5xV Enjoy Beethoven's beloved Septet in E flat Major, Op. 20; Mozart's Clarinet Quartet in B flat after K. 378 and the Serenade in C Major by Ernst von Dohnanyi, played by an ensemble hailed as “one of (New York City's) cultural jewels.” Created in 2002, the ensemble (http://ift.tt/1u5vTbb) was an immediate success. Its programs combine well-known chamber music masterpieces and sublime hidden treasures. Appearing in the Players' Canadian debut are violinist Areta Zhulla, cellist Mihai Marica, violist Vicki Powell, double bassist Nathaniel West, clarinetist Vadim Lando, horn player Karl Kramer-Johansen, and bassoonist Gina Cuffari. Zhulla plays on a copy of Stradivarius's “Viotti”, made in 2009 by her father, Greek luthier Lefter Zhulla.
