05/10/2015 00:00:00 Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival: Mirvish Village People Central West

City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1Izazkx Charlotte Hale & Associates is excited to exhibit Gerald Pisarzowski's Mirvish Village People as part of Scotiabank's Contact Photography Festival. His collection of portraits and landscapes was created through the use of an 8x10 view camera and the platinum printing process. He has captured Toronto's Mirvish Village as it readies for the 2016 development and its evolution into the future. Pisarzowski has documented the larger souls of the village through its individual artists and business owners as they are at work, and as they consider their future and how they will navigate the powerful bonds they have with their environment in this most precious part of the city.
