10/07/2014 00:00:00 MyMarket at Concord CityPlace Downtown Free

City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/1BowqUH MyPick farmers are inspected by Farmers' Markets Ontario to ensure that they are REAL farmers. Our market managers check each week to ensure that the famers are selling you items that they have grown. The MyPick symbol is your guarantee that you're eating local food, and that you can speak to someone who had a hand in growing that food. The MyPick program is the first of its kind in Canada, and the MyMarket farmers' markets are the first markets in Ontario to feature only MyPick farmers. No resellers or hucksters here!

10/07/2014 00:00:00 Trinity Bellwoods Farmers' Market Central West Free

City of Toronto All Events http://ift.tt/106at1d The Trinity Bellwoods Farmers' Market mandate is to support and promote local, sustainable and organically grown agriculture. To educate the community about the food they eat, the source from which it comes and how it is grown and/or prepared. To increase community access to fresh, local, organic and sustainably grown produce, meats and dairy. We support slow food - gathering regional foods to cook and eat at hearth and home. We don't currently consider non-food vendors. In addition to a large variety of seasonal vegetables and fruit, we offer cheeses, meats, fish, poultry, eggs, bread, crackers, sweet baked goods, mushrooms, condiments, coffee, fermented products and, early in the season, seedlings.
